Welcome to Northbox. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of www.northbox.ca (the "Site") and any purchase you make from us. By using the Site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.
1. Our Products
Northbox sells fragrances and related products, many of which are sourced from Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and other regions. We make every effort to display product descriptions, images, and fragrance notes accurately. However, colours, packaging, and bottle designs may vary from what appears on your screen, and packaging may differ slightly between production batches. Scent perception is personal and may vary from the notes described.
Fragrance sensitivities and allergies. Fragrances contain ingredients that may cause skin irritation or allergic reactions in some people. It is your responsibility to review any available ingredient information and to patch-test before use. Discontinue use if irritation occurs. Keep products out of reach of children and away from eyes, open flames, and heat.
2. Orders and Acceptance
Placing an order is an offer to purchase. We may accept or decline any order, or limit quantities, at our discretion, including in cases of suspected fraud, pricing errors, or stock unavailability. If we cancel an order after payment, we will issue a full refund to your original payment method.
3. Pricing and Payment
All prices are listed in Canadian dollars (CAD) unless stated otherwise. Applicable taxes (such as GST/HST/PST/QST) are calculated at checkout based on your shipping address. Prices and promotions may change without notice. Payment is processed securely by our third-party payment providers, and we do not store your full payment card details.
4. Shipping and Delivery
We ship across Canada. Delivery estimates are provided for convenience and are not guaranteed. Delays may occur due to carrier issues, weather, customs, or other circumstances outside our control. Risk of loss passes to you when the carrier delivers the package to the address you provided. Please ensure your shipping address is accurate, as we are not responsible for orders delivered to an incorrect address supplied by you.
If your package is lost, delayed, or arrives damaged, please contact us within [7] days of the delivery date (or expected delivery date) at the email below, and include photos where applicable.
5. Returns, Exchanges, and Refunds
Because fragrances are personal-care products, opened, used, or tampered-with items cannot be returned for hygiene and safety reasons. Unopened items in original, sealed packaging may be returned within [14] days of delivery for a refund or exchange, provided you contact us first for authorization. Return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility unless the item arrived damaged or incorrect.
If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, contact us within [7] days of delivery and we will arrange a replacement or refund. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within [10] business days of us receiving and inspecting the return.
6. Authenticity
We source our products from authorized or reputable suppliers and stand behind the authenticity of what we sell. If you have a concern about a product you received, contact us and we will review it promptly.
7. SMS Marketing Program
By providing your mobile number at checkout, through a sign-up form, or by texting a keyword to us, you consent to receive recurring automated marketing and promotional text messages from Northbox (such as offers, product announcements, and cart reminders) at the number you provided. Consent is not a condition of any purchase.
